Luxuries will include an in-flight entertainment system with 36 channels, mood lighting, webchat and email, as well as built-in charging points for laptops and mobile phones.
"I am delighted to announce the launch of Kingfisher's maiden international service between Bangalore and London's Heathrow airport. We will set new standards in international travel. I feel that the carefully selected routes that Kingfisher will offer great growth potential," said Dr Vijay Mallya, chairman and chief executive of Kingfisher Airlines.
